Having muscle does mean that you will end up having gigantic manly body structure. You can still have a slim and sexy body with muscles. Lean muscles are important for you, me and for everyone.

Today we are obsessed with the slim well toned figure that we see on TV. We are day by day getting conscious on gaining and loosing weight. Like when you eat something that contains too much of fats, you work out in order to burn those calories. Weight loss maybe due to loss of water, or body fats or even muscles. Many a times you go on a diet and loose more than required lean muscles which then adds to the fats in the body. So this is like a viscous circle.

It will help you look good, nice slim but then its more than that. It does wonders which is very important for the health of our body.

Lean muscle helps in giving you a good body shape and increases your strength. It adds natural curves to your body and that is one of the reasons clothes look good on such body type. Also an increase in the muscle mass provides you the stamina and strength that you need for covering your daily activities.

Remember that body fat can never be converted into muscle or the other way around. On the other hand, the lean muscle can cause or increase the deposition of fats in body which actually caused by excessive intake of calories. Lean muscles are like metabolism. It helps in burning more calories than body fats. As it helps in burning calories, it helps in loosing weight and to some extend even burns up some fats. In fact, maintaining lean muscle will be like a lifetime solution for fat loss.

Since it helps in lowering body fats, lean muscles also help in the prevention of certain diseases. As lean muscles helps in cutting back the fats, it will help you from getting obese. And today, as we know that obesity is one of the root cause of many diseases like diabetes and heart diseases. If you are overweight, develop lean muscles and burn all the unnecessary fats faster. And then later in the run will prevent the risk of certain diseases.

Lean muscle also helps during any injury and stress situation. These muscles helps in recovering from any injuries that causes a muscle protein breakdown. The lean muscle protects the elderly specially from any injuries in the hip bone areas, spine or joints. To have lean muscle, you need to have a balanced healthy diet and exercise.
