Will fruit and vegetables diet make me slim?

women fitness magazine
Switching on a diet full of fruits and vegetables and then later consuming some junk food will certainly not help to get slim. Yes, agreed that fruits and vegetables are healthy and natural, but what is the point of eating them if you are not giving up on the unhealthy junk. A recent study stated that even through are turning more vegetarian and switching to diet of fruits and vegetables, obesity is still on the rise. Why is it happening so?

People are eating healthy organic food, but as mentioned above they are still continuing on the old diet. They are not ready to give up on the burgers and pizzas rather they want to consume the junk and then later on grab some fruit, why? Fruits makes you slim and healthy. Slimming down requires dedication and commitment. You need to be sure and clear of what food you are eating. You should see that that particular food gives you energy and not fats. Also you need to exercise enough. Simply sitting on the couch and eating vegetables and fruits will still not make you healthy as a horse. In fact it could add to your fats meter. As there is no exercise to the body, the body will only expand as there is no energy burnt.

A study showed that on an average, today, people consume around 30 more pounds of vegetable and 25 pounds more of fruits every year as compared to 1970’s. Yes, the figures are good, but still obesity is on the rise. The thought of eating just more fruits is right but people are just eating more in general. Back in the 1970’s, on an average, adults ate around 2100 calories everyday while today, the number had risen to 2500 calories per day.

The study further went on stating that people will most likely stay healthy and not turn obese when they get access to fresh food. When we say fresh food, it is certainly not fresh pizza or burger, but fresh fruits and vegetables.
