Are you having unhealthy fights with your partner?

unhealth-fights-
Every couple fights. There is no couple on this earth who doesn’t fight or argue on tiny things. Its okay to fight or argue. That’s the human nature. But many a time it becomes difficult to distinguish between a healthy and unhealthy fight. We cannot recognize the difference soon. Fights or arguments are like two types, one helps you in clearing things and the other simply worsen things. Here are some ways that you could be having unhealthy fights with your partner.

Listening is any time important in any relationship. Without proper listening how would you ever know what your partner is feeling or going through. Fighting without any listening is not good. Why? Because you are just placing your points without considering others feelings. All you have to do is listen and respect the other for what he has to say. Focusing on yourself will only ruin the relationship.

Some people have the habit of winning constantly without even thinking that is that winning any good. The spirit of winning is good, but one should have the sense of knowing when to use it. Winning in relationship could be fatal. When you argue in such a way that you want to win, you are simply acting immature and disrespecting your partner.

One should always have a control over his anger. Bashing out anger while arguments is bad. You are more likely to say something real bad and regret over it later. Anger is destructive. How to avoid anger? Keep your mind stable while arguing. Because you never know when this anger can turn into verbal fight and to an actual fight.

If you are always arguing about the same things, you should try to find a different approach, because this one is very risky for your relationship. It often happens that old unresolved issues from the past arise in your day-to-day arguments. Your partner can be already sick and tired of hearing the same things every time you argue. You cannot change the past that’s why try to focus on the present moment and try to avoid the same problems in future.

When your partner is talking, you are supposed to be quite and listen. But somehow you do not do so. If you constantly do so you will always fight over unresolved issues and your relationship could be at a risk of dying. So when one talks, the other should listen. Both of you should get the equal chance of talking as well as listening.

If the argument is going out of hand, stop and accept the fact that your partner is different in nature. It is obvious that he will not agree on everything you say and vice versa.
