Peel off Masks and Home Remedies for Blackheads

Spread the love

Common and annoying, blackheads occur when your pores become clogged with excess sebum (an oil created by the sebaceous glands that keeps skin supple) and dead skin cells. The difference between a black head and a white head is simply whether or not the pore is open or closed. If the pore is open, the plug of sebum/skin cells oxidizes as it is in contact with the oxygen in the air, which turns it black. Blackheads are not caused by dirt. Let’s make that clear from the beginning. Scrubbing your face obsessively is not a good way to get rid of your blackheads, and is only going to make it worse as you’ll just end up drying out your skin, which will cause more oil to be created to make up for everything you stripped away, and…well it’s a vicious cycle.

Milk & Gelatin Peel Off Mask:-

In a bowl mix one tablespoon milk and tablespoon gelatin well. Heat the mixture in microwave for 5 seconds. Remove the container and mix well. Again place the mixture in the microwave and heat it for 5 more seconds. Remove from the microwave and cool it till it is just warm enough. Apply this mixture with a brush on the nose. Leave it for 15 then peel off the mask and get rid of the blackheads. Wash face with water.

Honey and Raw Milk Peel Off Mask:-

In a bowl mix one tablespoon honey and one tablespoon raw milk and warm it in the microwave for about 10 seconds. You must get a thick and sticky mixture. Let the mixture cool. With the help of a brush apply the mixture to the nose. Leave it for about half an hour and then peel of the mask. Wash face with water.

Baking Soda Paste:-

The antiseptic quality of it makes it a wonderful product for your skin. It not only works as an exfoliant to scrub away dead skin cells, leaving the skin soft and smooth, it’s also an incredible contender against those pesky blackheads. In a glass or ceramic bowl, mix about a tablespoon of baking soda with just a small amount of water to form a paste. Apply the paste to blackheads and allow it to dry for about 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Kasturi Turmeric:-

Turmeric is one of the best medicinal spices there is, offering powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Mix a small amount of Kasturi turmeric with water or coconut oil to form a paste. Dab the paste onto blemishes and let it soak in for 10 to 15 minutes.

Rinse with lukewarm water.

Eggwhites:-

Gather an egg, some facial tissue or toilet paper, a small bowl and a clean towel; separate the yolk from the white. Rinse your face and then pat it dry. Apply a thin layer of egg white all over your face and then place a strip of toilet paper or facial tissue over it, pressing it gently onto your face. Allow it to dry. Next, place a second layer of egg white over the tissue. You can dip your fingers in the egg white and then onto the tissue to make it easier. Allow that layer to dry as well. Once the mask has dried, peel the tissue off and then rinse to remove any residue. Pat dry and moisturize with your favorite all-natural moisturizer.
