While on a promotional trip to Tokyo, the Brazil forward stated that- “It’s all good. My back is improving. It’s almost 100 percent.” The 22-year-old was badly injured during the FIFA World Cup finals, 2014, when he was kicked in the back by the Columbian defender Juan Zuniga. And that was the end of World Cup 2014 for Neymar.

Later in was declared that he wouldn’t be needing any surgery but it would take weeks for him ti get back on his feet. And then speaking in a conference later, a tearful Neymar said, “If it had been another two centimeters I could be in a wheelchair today.” Thankfully, the Brazilian football superstar suffered a fracture in his third vertebrae. Neymar further stated that he could not feel his legs when the Columbian defender’s kick was planted in his back.

Just a couple of days back, while his stay in Tokyo for filming a commercial for a Japanese mattress company, the Brazilian star also talked about his play in Barcelona FC for the coming season. “’I’m looking forward to joining my (Barcelona) teammates and helping them win the title.”

It is said that Neymar is due back with his club on August 5. With Suarez on suspension and Neymar’s injury, the Barcelona team was worried. It meant that whole burden would be falling on Messie. But now with Neymar’s as-good-as-100%-recovery, the Barcelona FC fans can hope for a win this season.
